WebObjects developer positions available at a start-up company in the Miami area. We are developing the next-generation medical practice management application and are looking for two mid-level developers to join our team. This is a full-time position. We are accepting employees and subcontractors. All work must be done at the project site in Miami. Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deliver components for the Web infrastructure and services.
• Working with the Lead Software Engineer, develop and test components as assigned.
• Work closely with the other teammates to seamlessly integrate the components they develop into the main application.
• Maintain the ease-of-use design principle in all work.

Experience:

• 2+ years of hands on development experience with WebObjects 5.x+

Qualifications:

• Experience developing Web Applications using WebObjects.
• Hands-on experience using common web technologies.
• Excellent OO development skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Work well with other developers and follow the direction of the Project Lead

Required Skills:

• Understanding of the WebObjects architecture (and EOF)
• Strong OOP fundamentals
• Strong Java knowledge
• Strong analysis and debugging skills
• Strong HTML/CSS/Javascript skills

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience working with IDEs such as Xcode 2.x, Eclipse
• Experience working with third-party frameworks
• Experience with OpenBase
• Experience with AJAX
• SQL knowledge
